Just a short walk from many of our properties, Valley Gardens is one of Harrogate's most popular green spaces. This beautiful oasis of formal gardens, woodland paths and open lawns is perfect for relaxed, on-lead walks. You'll also find dog-friendly cafés nearby, making it an ideal stop for a coffee break.
Covering approximately 200 acres in the heart of Harrogate, The Stray offers a huge open space for daily exercise. The largely flat terrain makes it suitable for dogs of all ages, with plenty of room for off-lead play where appropriate. It's a favourite among local dog owners and visitors alike.
Located on the southern edge of Harrogate, Pine Woods provides peaceful woodland trails surrounded by mature trees and wildlife. The shaded paths are particularly enjoyable during warmer months and offer excellent opportunities for dogs to explore.
Around 15–20 minutes from Harrogate by car, Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs offer some of the most scenic dog walks in North Yorkshire. The circular waterside routes combine woodland tracks, open countryside and stunning views, making them perfect for longer adventures with your dog.
